Saddle, work, riding or exhibition fitness; meek temperament, they are strong, resistant, docile and rustic horses.
Height between 1.64-1.70 m. weight between 430 and 520 kg. Small head, wide forehead, small ears, large and expressive eyes. Neck with a wide base and fine vertex, short and broad back and loin, straight line, oblique rump. Muscular chest, wide thorax. Muscular limbs, good bone, wide joints and slender tendons, a good size foot and a sturdy hoof. Coats are tordillos, chestnut, dark and chestnut.
