IRT is the global market leader in horse transport with over 50 years of experience flying horses around the world.  From small beginnings, IRT now has offices located in all corners of the globe – New Zealand, Australia, the UK, Germany and, the USA (Los Angeles and Chicago). We are experts in the airfreighting of all types of equine breeds.

Since IRT’s inception, refining the transport process has always been a top priority for the IRT team. By working closely with government bodies and key industry stakeholders, IRT has been able to streamline the travel process and, reduce the travel time and risk associated with flying horses.

Throughout IRT’s 50 years in operation, there have been many milestones that have been achieved, one of which, was the establishment of routes and charter services to Singapore, Malaysia, South Africa, South America and now of course, China.  These routes, along with our traditional Australasia to the UK/Europe and USA and, vice versa, sees IRT fly thousands of horses around the world on an annual basis.

IRT’s first shipments to China began in 2014/2015. Since then, IRT have undertaken numerous charter flights for the likes of China Horse Club and Rider Horse.
