The Pony Club is an international youth equestrian charity founded in 1929 with 32,000 members in the UK and 110,000 world-wide. 

The Pony Club is dedicated to enabling its Members to care for and enjoy being with horses. It has a comprehensive and progressive set of tests to support learning, enhanced with over 130 achievement badges.

In the UK, Members can take part in 9 different equestrian sports to Championship level, together with attending training sessions or “rallies” throughout the year, with mounted and unmounted activities. A highlight of the year is the Pony Club camp where Members spend several days together with their horses, improving their riding, equestrian skills and having lots of fun. Coaching and volunteering opportunities are numerous, with Members able to develop skills leading towards careers in the equestrian industry and wider afield. 

In 2018, the Pony Club recognised Equuleus International as the first Pony Club Linked Centre in mainland China. Following regular training exchanges, together we plan to expand the 

numbers of Pony Club Linked Centres in China starting with Shanghai and Jiangsu. Pony Club Linked Centres in mainland China are also BHS Approved Centres.
