New equestrian organisations in China:
· On April 13th the Nanjing Jin Lin Ma Hui International Equestrian Club was founded. The club owns 30 horses of different breeds, including German warm-blood horses which is worth 2 million RMB.
· On May 13th the Iponey International Youth Cavaliers Academy founded in Beijing and is the first French Equestrian training organisation in China, they are now the owners of 40 ponies from France.
· On May 15th, the Australian Kylin Horse Co announced that they are going to enter into the Chinese market. Kylin is creating an online investment platform for race horses.
More local competitions have been announced in China:
· China Equestrian Tour Competition was launched in Beijing in 2013 and following its success will continue to be organised in Beijing, Shanghai, Dalian and Guangzhou in 2015.
Latest Chinese horse purchases:
· In recent years, the Inner Mongolia Rider Horse Group has imported 500 horses from New Zealand. The same group organised for Chinese experts including well horse owners and owners of equestrian clubs to invest in New Zealand’s horse industry. As a result a trip for 35 local horse owners from Beijing, Xingjian, Yunnan and Liaoning to New Zealand resulted in the purchase of 25 thoroughbreds. Rider Horse Group has been a participant at the CHF as they see the benefit of the show and potential of the Chinese equine market.
