China Horse Fair 2011 attracts high calibre audience.

From 13-15 October Beijing was home to the 5th China International Professional Horse Sports & Leisure Industries Exhibition (CHF), which attracted nearly 100 world class suppliers and 3,000 buyers from across China. Reflecting the country’s growing interest and participation in a wide range of horse sports and leisure activities, CHF 2011 proved to be the largest and most international edition to date.

Tarsus Hope Exhibitions Co., Ltd, the organiser of CHF, reported that exhibitors from Australia, Belgium, China, Canada, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Netherlands, New Zealand, Spain, Switzerland, UK and USA, took this opportunity to showcase their products and services to an increasingly knowledgeable audience of professional trade  buyers. Feedback from the exhibitors confirmed that many serious business enquiries were received on their stands with a high proportion expected to turn into lucrative sales contracts.

Clononeen Farm (Ireland), a first time exhibitor to CHF summed up the mood on the exhibition floor, “CHF was definitely a worthwhile trip, we are already making plans to attend next year, we are very excited about future prospects in China.”

Ou Yang, Marketing Manager for CHF 2011 commented, “It has been noticeable that the quality of enquiries reported by exhibitors is significantly higher than previous years. There is a real sense that sales are now being made and not just talked about.”

Echoing this positive sentiment Mr Vincent Vermeulen from V. Horse Products and Sales said, “The visitors to CHF gets better and better every year, the Chinese market's prospects are very good”.

CHF 2011 showcased high quality breeds from around the world.

CHF 2011 Forum provided expert opinions and practical advice on the industry’s hot topics.

High quality horses are fundamental for the development of training, competition and breeding programmes in China and international breeders were particularly well represented at the CHF 2011. Besides the high quality horses from Germany, Spain, Ireland and the USA on display, experts on a range of breeds were on hand to advise on characteristics, training, exercise, nutritional and healthcare requirements. A visit to CHF 2011 offered buyers an opportunity to view and compare those products and services essential for delivering world class results.

In addition to the exhibits on display and the practical advice available on the stands of suppliers, CHF 2011 also provided a high-level educational forum where visitors listened to the experiences and advice from renowned practitioners in their field of equine expertise.

Exhibitors at CHF 2011 did brisk business with trade buyers and enthusiasts.

The China Horse Fair 2012 will return from 13 to 15 October 2012 at the Beijing Exhibition Centre.
