Exciting new features at CHF 2018

China Horse Fair 2018 (CHF), China’s market leading trade exhibition for the professional horse sports and leisure industries, will be hosting a number of exciting new features when next held in Beijing from 17-19 October 2018.

Recognising the large increase in riding clubs across China, from 907 to 1452 clubs in the past year alone, and with nearly 62% of their members classified as youth riders, CHF 2018 is hosting an exciting range of activities under the theme of ‘Future Riders’. These initiatives will ensure both international and local suppliers can more effectively target those future participants in China’s booming equine market. The planned activities include specialist products/services presentations, a live pony show, overseas coaching and rider instruction, and educational forums covering such hot topics as implementing effective young rider training, the ‘do’s and ‘don’ts’ of running a successful facility for young rider, organising successful equestrian events and competitions etc. In addition to these action packed activities there will be a national youth riding instruction competition for coaches. Organised by the Youth Committee of China Horse Industry Association and Beijing Turf & Equestrian Association, the competition will attract experienced and up and coming coaches from riding clubs all over China.

“The most talked about subject amongst China’s equine industry is young riders. They are the future of the industry, and that is the reason we are planning to organise these targeted activities at this year’s exhibition, to assist our exhibitors to connect directly with their future buyers. Exhibitors at CHF 2018 will be able to meet with many young riders, coaches, riding clubs, and even the public during the onsite presentations, shows, instruction, demonstrations, and competitions, enabling them to promote their products and services face to face.” Sonia Ou Yang, Marketing Manager for CHF, said, “We feel the riding instruction from international coaches will attract great attention from the riding clubs. Well known international riders will be invited to give instruction to young Chinese club riders, in the 6-12 years age range, along with workshops about choosing the right equipment for horse and rider etc.”

In addition to continued investment in an international standard display arena to be located at the event, CHF 2018 will improve upon last year’s facilities and include a dedicated pony arena.

CHF 2018 attracts record number of suppliers

Confirming its position as China’s most important event for equine professionals, the CHF 2018 is set to attract a record level of exhibitors and trade visitors.

With five months still to go, many leading international suppliers from Germany, Ireland, France, the Netherlands, Belgium, Sweden, UK, USA, and Australia, have already reserved their stands at the exhibition. As a result of this record level of interest, 80 per cent of available space is already occupied by international and China’s suppliers.

Visitors to CHF 2018 will be able to ‘travel the world’ of equestrian supplies under one roof and will be able to view and compare a diverse range of products including live horses, horse tack, saddlery, accessories and protection equipment, nutrition, rehabilitation, welfare and veterinary supplies, transportation equipment and services, stabling and equipment for riding and equestrian facilities, equestrian/polo/racing/specialist equine sports and leisure facilities.

Amongst the many companies already confirmed to display their products and services, visitors will find many big name suppliers, such as Botanica International (Ireland), Jadem Arabians (Belgium), Biocel (Australia), WA Ventures Equine (USA), Bailey Racing (UK), BGS (China), Tengke (China), Baslong (China), Pacso (China), Olymmed (China), Aianma (China), GCTS Sporthorses (China), and Return Trace (China) etc.

The China Horse Fair 2018 will again prove it is much more than just an exhibition by delivering a unique insight into the equestrian and horse industries in China. International exhibitors and Chinese visitors will again be able to benefit from this first-hand exchange of information in this growing market.
