CHF 2018 attracts top international suppliers

Now on its 12th edition, the China Horse Fair 2018(CHF 2018) will once again be the country’s largest and most comprehensive annual display of equine products and services from around the world.

Taking place from 17-19 October 2018 in Beijing, CHF has since 2007 successfully served  China’s rapidly growing professional equine sports and leisure industry by introducing hundreds of high quality international and local suppliers and their products, to tens of thousands of China’s top buyers and specifiers. A mix of first time and previous exhibitors will seek to generate new sales to this exciting emerging market through their participation at the event.

This year’s event has attracted a record level of exhibitor interest with suppliers from Ireland, Belgium, Netherlands, France, Italy, Switzerland, Germany, UK, USA, Australia, Japan, and of course China, already reserving their stands. Highlighting its broad appeal across a full range of products and services, major international brands such as Botanica International, Jadem Arabians, WA Ventures Equine, Bailey Racing, Connolly’s Red Mills, Japan Racing Association, Mitavite, Mountainhorse, Equiline, KED, Biofarmab, Trikem, Samshield, Royal, Amerigo, Pikeur, GPA, CT, Animo, KEP, and UVEX, to name just a few, have already confirmed their participation at this years event.

Bill Bailey, Sales Director for Bailey Racing who is participating at the CHF for the first time in 2018, said, “There are a number of objectives involved in exhibiting at the trade fair. Our business plan is to meet with Chinese entrepreneur’s involved in thoroughbred horse racing. We are aware of the scope of racing in China and feel this is a perfect opportunity to promote and establish our business.”

Visitors to CHF 2018 can expect to benefit from viewing and comparing the very latest offerings  from international suppliers of veterinary, equine healthcare and welfare products, saddlery and tack, equipment and services for riding and breeding facilities, high end livestock, equestrian and horse racing competition equipment, clothing and safety related products and services and much more.

CHF 2018 to host China’s elite buyers

Tarsus Hope Exhibitions, the Organiser of CHF 2018 is confident that this year’s event will again attract the top buyers from China’s rapidly expanding professional equine sector.

Recognised as China’s only professional trade event for this sector, CHF regularly attracts high quality trade buyers along with the top amateur and professional riders from across the country. Such is the shows reputation that visiting CHF has become one of the annual ‘must do’ things for not only the many Chinese equestrian club and stud farm owners, but increasingly for buyers across the Asian region.

Ms. Michelle Wang Qiang, the founder and CEO of Beijing Equuleus International Riding Club, said “I have visited the China Horse Fair many times…it is helpful for us to have this opportunity to compare products and brands from one supplier to another, and it is also a good opportunity for us to talk to our partners face to face about next year’s cooperation plans.” She went onto say “I am definitely going to visit this year’s China Horse Fair in October, the new brands and products at the show are very attractive to us.”

Equuleus riding club is just one example of the high calibre visitors CHF 2018 is expected to attract. “There are 1992 riding clubs in China which is already significantly higher than the number announced by the Beijing Equestrian Association at the end of last year. Our comprehensive database ensures we are able to invite the decision makers from all of these local riding clubs to visit CHF 2018.” said Sonia Ou Yang, Marketing Manager for CHF. She went onto say “CHF 2018 is hosting an exciting range of activities under the theme of ‘Future Riders’. These initiatives will ensure both international and local suppliers can more effectively target those future participants in China’s booming equine market.” One such initiative is the overseas coaching and rider instruction programme which has generated a lot of interests from riding clubs, including LIJUN, YINGHUANG, DILI, MAYUHUI, DAOXIANGHU, QUNYING etc. located in Beijing, Tianjin, Jinan, and Shanxi. Ou Yang commented that “We are very confident that the live pony show and national youth riding instruction competition for coaches, to be organised alongside the exhibition, will be very attractive and prove a powerful draw for young club members, coaches and managers of riding clubs as well.
