After consulting with leading representatives of China`s professional equine sports and leisure industry, the organiser of China Horse Fair 2021 has announced new dates for this year`s show. China Horse Fair 2021, the 14th edition of this successful series, will now take place from 27th -29th August 2021 at the Equuleus International Riding Club, Beijing.
Commenting on this change of dates, Sonia Ou Yang, Marketing Director for China Horse Fair said, “After extensive consultation with buyers from across China`s equestrian sector, it was clear from their feedback, they would prefer China Horse Fair 2021 to take place in August given the crowded calendar of equine related events scheduled for September.” She went onto say, “We take very seriously our responsibility to ensure both our exhibitors and visitors benefit from being part of the most comprehensive trade gathering in China and so maximising their opportunities to engage in new business. The change of dates to 27th – 29th August will enable us to achieve this objective.”
Confirming his support for this decision Mr. Chen Che, Vice President of the Youth Committee of the China Horse Industry Association and General Secretary of the Beijing Turf & Equestrian Association, said, “As the country’s most important gathering for equine industry buyers and sellers to meet, our members will welcome China Horse Fair 2021 taking place in August, a quieter month in the competition calendar.” He went onto say “The warmer temperatures will also reduce the likelihood of disruption caused by any lingering effects of the pandemic which means we can plan our participation with more confidence.”
The format of China Horse Fair 2021 will remain unchanged with the trade exhibition taking place in conjunction with the China Horse Fair 2021 Forum, a free to attend educational and networking gathering, and the annual Equuleus Open Equestrian Rider Competition which will again enjoy recognition from the FEI, the International Federation for Equestrian Sports based in Switzerland.
After cancelling the 2020 edition of China Horse Fair 2021 due to the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic, interest in the 2021 edition is reportedly very high as both international and domestic suppliers look to satisfy the pent-up demand for new equestrian goods and services from China`s growing equine sector. Andrew Furness, International Sales and Marketing Consultant for China Horse Fair commented, “In response to these more uncertain times, we have created a number of new options for international suppliers looking to access this exciting market both through exhibiting at the Show and by using other marketing and social media channels. For any international supplier serious about doing business in China, we now deliver the most comprehensive and targeted range of sales and marketing activities in the industry.”
