Mr. Chen at CHF Shanghai 2024
Q: How has China's equestrian industry changed over recent years and what excites you about the future?
A: In recent years, the development of the equestrian industry has been characterized by the word 'intense' as new riding clubs can be found all over the country, especially in Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Shanghai, Chengdu, Shandong, and Wuhan. The construction of these riding clubs has been a driving force in the future development of our horse clothing industry and our horse clothing sales have grown several times over in recent years. Whilst expanding our regional and general product sales, we have also developed special competition horse jackets with various logos to make our products stand out in competitions. We have confidence and look forward to the development of China's equine industry in the future and striving to see the Bucas brand of horse clothing in every corner of the country.
Q: What advice would you give to the suppliers looking to enter the Chinese market?
A: Firstly, patience, and secondly, confidence. Because the equestrian industry is still relatively a small market with big growing potential compared to other sports in China, promoting one's products to customers relies on persistence, which must be done from beginning to end. Several brands in the industry quickly lost their market due to lack of persistence. In addition, one must have confidence in building their own brand awareness. The pre-requisite is to ensure good quality, establish a good reputation, and avoid price wars on the basis of marketization.
Q: What are you hoping to achieve by exhibiting at China Horse Fair Shanghai 2025?
A: We have participated in almost every edition of the CHF horse exhibition. Next year, we still hope to showcase the Bucas brand and new products, reunite with old friends and meet new ones in the horse racing industry and explore more possibilities for cooperation. Our goal is to become a brand recognized by customers, a benchmark in the industry and a century old supplier!
