Q: When did you first open your riding club?

A: Suzhou Zhen Long Equestrian Club was founded in 2013.

Q: In your opinion, how has the equestrian market in China changed since you first opened and what are your predictions for the future?

A: The domestic equestrian market is growing rapidly, constantly improving and expanding in scale. It may not necessarily become popular to everybody here in China, but more and more riders will join this sport, and their riding skills and concepts will gradually mature. The industry chain and talent pool will also expand accordingly.

Q: How do you currently source products for your riding club's future needs? 

A: We usually purchase daily equestrian equipment from established horse equipment dealers, and also visit CHF every year to purchase or meet new suppliers, and then make purchases according to the plan.

Q: What products are you and your club members most interested in purchasing over the next 12-18 months?  

A: In the coming year, we have a purchasing demand for horse maintenance supplies, horse training saddles, and rider supplies.

Q: Are you planning to invest more or less this year compared to last year and what will be your main purchases over the next 18 months?

A: Our investment is definitely increasing. We will upgrade the equestrian venue and increase investment in horse maintenance products.

Q: How important is it for you and your club members to be able to view and compare both international and local products?

A: It's quite important. By viewing and comparing international and local products, one can gain industry knowledge, find products that are more suitable for oneself in the market, and provide more choices for club members.

Q: What advice would you give to international suppliers thinking of selling their products in China?  

A: We hope that international suppliers have the opportunity to participate in exhibitions and competitions in China, and to have more exchanges with the Chinese equestrian market.

Q: Do you attend any other trade fairs apart from China Horse Fair?

A: We mainly visit CHF in China. The CHF horse exhibition has a large scale and a wide range of products. I personally visit the exhibition almost every year.
